Bronx Book Fair aka The People’s Book Fair

The Bronx Book Fair aka The People’s Book Fair executive director Lorraine Currelley and the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program founders Andy and Neva Shillingford-King will partner to host both annual events. Celebrating Out of the Pool, Back to School 20th year, honoring iconic DJs Breakout and Baron. 
Celebrating their 13th year the Bronx Book Fair will feature Keynote Speaker Author Otis D Gore, “THE AUDACITY OF DOUBT.” Featured Authors Edward Currelley, Lorraine Currelley, Nathan Dillard, Nailah Mathews and Earl Spencer.
Both organizations will distribute backpacks and school supplies to students. Join us for an afternoon of poetry, fun, games, food, and awards.
