Dutch Tile Tour of Van Cortlandt House Museum

Dutch tiles are finely detailed blue and white tiles that decorated many early American homes. Visitors will be led inside the museum’s period rooms to view the tiles that adorn the fireplaces. The tour will include an informational talk with details on the historic significance and manufacturing process of the tiles in the 17th and 18th centuries.
