Artist Workshop: Juneteenth Zines with Lillian Young*
Join us for an exciting day exploring Juneteenth with artist Lillian Young! Young’s series Black Elder Archive features a portrait of the “grandmother of Juneteenth”, Opal Lee. We’ll learn more about Lee through art, read-alouds and video, and then create our own zines with textured paper and markers.
